As the last memory of summer, today a little tourism-related project we did: the identity of the Tuchola Forest, a competition entry.
The forest is a beautiful place near the town of Tuchola in northern Poland. It includes the Tuchola Forest National Park, which is at the core of the Tuchola Forest Biosphere Reserve, designated by UNESCO in 2010. And no, we did not spend summer there.
The competition brief was pretty basic: designing a logo promoting tourism in Tuchola Forest, with a slogan: In the Labyrinths of Nature, which inspired our solution. We chose a T monogram, combining the name, a tree and a labyrinth into a single, simple form and matched it with Archer for its slab serifs and playful elegance. Expectedly, dominating color is green.
