Warsaw Full of Squares and Squirrels

Today’s post is not only late but also sketchy because we spent the weekend in Warsaw enjoying ourselves. We went to see Mark Rothko’s exhibition, which looked something like this:

warsaw-rothkoonly more colorful and less like a rug. Then we took part in a guided walk in the Old Town, which was full of medieval prostitutes and hangmen and even mermaids. Even if these were only members of the Friends of Warsaw Society, they looked impressive.

warsaw-ladyBut the best part, as usual, was feeding squirrels in the park, which we did enthusiastically (even if almost all our almonds went to that one very patient and hard-working squirrel).
