For our post-wedding session we really wanted to pose with a bunch of huskies but, unfortunately, we don’t own such a pack. Luckily, one of our neighbors does and so we arranged to have the dogs pose with us in return for a logo for the company. We actually enjoyed this arrangement because it seemed like a fun challenge to design a logo-shaped husky. Also, we just like drawing dogs.
The company is a small family business, or really just a husky-lover who owns over twenty dogs and puts them to work by making them pull sled in winter and help in dogotherapy and sometimes pose for pictures with people like us. His are not exactly sports dogs so we decided to aim for a more friendly look.
Please be informed that this is for now work in progress.
The first logo uses a full dog silhouette with a grid of snow.
The other one is just a husky’s head that we took pains not to make too sports-team like so that it wouldn’t feel aggressive but more huggable (they are really huggable).
And here is one of our pictures with the monochromatic version of the logo.
Should you be superinterested in what it’s like to have your pictures taken with huskies, I wrote more about it here.
